Farmstar advise a full servicing schedule for any air conditioning system and point out that an annual service is advisable, making it part of a machines winter service! |
Maintenance & Servicing recommendations
| No Daily | |
| Maintenance Required. | |
| Weekly | |
| 1. Check area around condenser. If any debris collected, clear with airline. Ensure the air ways to the condenser are clear. | 2. Run Air-conditioning System for five minutes as this assists with the life of the hoses. |
| Monthly | |
| 1. Check tension of compressor belt and adjust if necessary. | 2. Check *hoses for signs of wear and take corrective action as required. |
| *Warning Do Not at anytime try to Disconnect The System Hoses as they will be Pressurized with Refrigerant!!! | |
| Annual | |
| 1. The System needs to be discharged, the receiver drier changed and the complete system evacuated and re-charged. | 2. The operation of the thermostat and pressure switch should be checked and adjusted if necessary. |
| 3. The condition of the belt and compressor pulley bearing should be checked. |
4. All hoses should be checked for signs of damage and repaired or replaced accordingly. |
